(Romans 12:12) Lord, You have blessed us with a powerful, eternal hope. Regardless of anything we face on this earth—any trial, any pain, any difficulty—Your hope remains. It is continuous. It is always there. As Paul told the Romans, it is a hope so powerful and overwhelming that it should be bursting out from our souls. It is a transformational, life-changing hope. Father, Your child, ___, needs that hope in their heart, mind, and soul right now. In this time of trouble—while their spouse is selflessly sacrificing to serve our country—___ needs to be reminded of why they don’t need to give up. Why they can still have “a continual joy,” despite any sadness, fear, or pain. Lord, You love ___ and You care deeply for them. In light of that love, I ask You to continually fill ___ with Your hope, every day. Remind them that You are always with them. Draw ___ to Yourself throughout this season and to “commune with You at all times.” As Paul said, God, may ___’s hope burst forth within them and release an overwhelming joy, peace, and love. Amen.
