(Proverbs 2:6-9) God, You give a unique and powerful gift to all those who choose to trust and follow after You: Your wisdom. As Solomon writes in Proverbs 2, You provide a “hidden storehouse of wisdom” to all of Your children and those who love You. In that wisdom—as we choose to trust You and obey Your commands—You walk alongside us as our “personal bodyguard.” You not only lead us and guide us, but you protect us from Satan’s attacks and empower us “to make the right decisions as [we] walk into [our] destiny.” What a beautiful truth that is, Lord! Thank You that, instead of leaving us on our own, helpless, You equip and empower all of Your children. I know that’s what You’re also doing in ___’s life right now, Father. As ___ serves their country, You are protecting, guarding, leading, and guiding them in Your wisdom, truth, and power. ___ has no reason to fear, Lord, for You, their “personal bodyguard,” are walking with them and alongside them—always. In every situation, give ___ confidence and boldness, Lord, knowing they have access to Your hidden storehouse of wisdom—their secret weapon that will provide them everything they need.
