(1 Corinthians 10:13) There is hope on the horizon. Because of Your power, Your work, and Your goodness, Lord, we have an eternally bright future to which to look forward with anticipation and hope. At the end of time, God, we know You will take away every tear, every pain, every negative thing that has ever weighed us down. We hope in what’s to come, but we also hope in the present. You didn’t say the Kingdom of Heaven is coming; You said the Kingdom of Heaven is “at hand” (Matthew 4:17). You came to give us new life and new hope in the here and now. Because of that, Father, we know there’s always another path. There’s always a way out of trouble. There’s always a light at the end of our tunnel of pain, trials, and hurt. Because of what You’ve done and who You are, we know our burdens are only temporary. They are passing away in light of Your overwhelming goodness and mercy. Father, show ___ that eternal perspective. Give them Your eyes to see that hope. Reveal to ___ the light at the end of the tunnel—and how to reach out and embrace that light. Let that hope, through Your Holy Spirit, empower ___ to overcome, to rise above their burdens. Through Your light, inspire ___ to open their arms to You in full acceptance and embrace of Your ability to lift them up. Thank You for Your love for ___, Lord. Amen.
