(James 1:2-4) Lord, because of Your greatness and power, we know there’s nothing in this life that can’t be used by You, that can’t be transformed for our ultimate good and Your glory. The end of the story is already written, Father: You have won the battle. You have defeated sin and death, and You will reign for all of eternity. Therefore, nothing—in heaven or on earth—can defy Your ultimate plan. For us, Your children, nothing can separate us from Your love and the life of joy, peace, and rest You offer to all those who believe. Because of this, Lord God, even when we face “nothing but difficulties”—as ___ faces right now—we can still have assurance. Because of Your Spirit living within us, ___ can see their doubt and uncertainty as an opportunity, as an invaluable chance to “experience the greatest joy that [they] can!” In light of that, Father, give ___ a supernatural endurance through Your Holy Spirit. Open ___’s eyes to see Your perspective of the joy, peace, and growth found on the other side of their difficulties. Empower ___ to trust in You completely, Lord. Equip them to endure. At the end of the day, release perfection into every part of ___’s being “until there is nothing missing and nothing lacking.” Amen.
