(Romans 8:28) Yahweh, life on this Earth—as created beings living in a broken world—is a constant battle. Every day, we’re faced with the choice: Will we accept Your design for good and evil, or will we define good and evil for ourselves? Will we say to You, “My will be done,” or “Thy will be done”? Too often, when we choose the former option, we lose perspective. When we try to take control of our own lives—intentionally or unintentionally—we become consumed by our own fears, doubts, and insecurities. We lose perspective of Your beautiful design and great love, Father. Although I don’t know why ___ is struggling to find delight in their life right now, Lord—and I won’t assume why—I ask You to fill their soul with a supernatural perspective through Your Holy Spirit. Show ___, God, the plans You have for them—Your perfect plan of bringing good into their lives. Remind ___ that their fears, doubts, and insecurities are not the end of the story—not today, not this week, not ever. You always have the final word, Father. Joy, peace, rest, and love can always be found in You, Lord. Whatever may be troubling ___ right now, God, I ask You to overpower it with Your transformational perspective. Amen.
