(John 1:12) Lord God, You know ___’s heart. How beautiful their heart is for You, Lord! Throughout ___’s life, I’ve seen example after example of their dedication, commitment, and love for You, Yahweh. Like the early believers John talks about in the first chapter of his Gospel, ___ has embraced You and taken hold of Your name with their life. ___ loves You like their own father, Lord—You know this more than anyone. Because of this, I ask You to plant ___’s feet firmly in the authority they now have as Your child. Comfort them with the promise that You will never leave them nor forsake them. Remind ___ that You are always near—that You will comfort the brokenhearted. Above all, God, speak to ___ and tell them that they are loved and accepted by You—always. Through Your Holy Spirit, hold that truth in ___’s mind at all times. Equip them to keep it at the front of their mind and heart. And through this new sense of acceptance, Father, empower ___ to share it with others who are struggling as they did. Thank You, Lord. Amen.
