(Revelation 21:5) Lord God, this verse always brings me to tears, thinking about the beautiful, hopeful future on the horizon. When I think about You saying these words to Your people, declaring them over all Your creation, my heart can’t help but leap with joy and anticipation. You are going to return. You are making all things new. Thank You for that beautiful truth, Yahweh! As we know, part of that process means that we, Your people, are also being made new—that You’re currently in the process of restoring and transforming us into the image and likeness of Your Son, Jesus. I see Your hand of influence and love on my own life, and I see it in the life of Your child, ___. It’s amazing to watch ___ grow, mature, and deepen their relationship with You. I’ve seen You work in ___’s life, and I know that process of restoration will only continue in the days to come. Lord, give ___ Your eyes to see Your eternal perspective—to see this hope on the horizon. Encourage them through the truth of Your restoration process. Fill them with joy and energy as they witness and experience Your work firsthand. Make ___ newer each day, Father. May they bear the undeniable work of our Savior, Jesus Christ. Amen.
